I highly recommend eating here. First the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EVERYTHING. Very professional and thorough (repeated my order back to me, informed me of my total, gave me an ETA) I went to the establishment, it was clean and organized. Now the FOOD! I ordered catfish, string beans, cabbage & seafood salad. It was flavorful. I am so satisfied with my food and I am a very picky eater. The portions was great as well. Another thing! The vegetables aren’t made with pork! I will definitely be supporting this business again

I was sold on the name alone because this is what I was raised on not just Food from the Heart, but everything I know from the Heart will for sure produce Marvelous results. Because, anything associated with the Heart comes by way of Love. The food was Delicious!!. My family & I traveled from Center City after a co-worker from the area spoke of how good the food was. We were equally as pleased, and it was well worth our travel. We had everything from the Fried fish, Ribs, Chicken, Seafood Salad and more. Love! Loved! Loved it. The Atmosphere and Customer Service was Great!! We passed the word along and we'll definitely be back.

First time ordering from this restaurant via doordash. I had the pork rib platter with tuna mac and green beans. The ribs were sooooo good. Dryrub season on ribs was flavorful and delicious no sauce needed for these ribs. Definitely will try again hopefully will not be disappointed.

The food was excellent top tier. We ordered beef ribs greens seafood salad pork ribs green yams Mac and cheese chocolate cake carrot cake. We were impressed. Food was packaged well and still hot and I live in North Philly. I can't wait to try their whole menu! I

Food was absolutely phenomenal, when i say everything is just perfect, ribs cooked perfectly falling off the bone and well seasoned, mac and cheese and candied yams....chefs kiss. Bbq wings, corn and potatoe salad also extremely good. very hard to find actual good soul/bbq food but this has definitely hit my top favorite.

I almost feel ashamed that I used to live within walking distance to this establishment and never knew about it. Thank goodness I am still not too far. Sadly, I feel like there aren't too many solid soul food places uptown that consistently answer the phone and / or have really good food. This place has both. Pictured is Swai, macaroni salad and string beans(so good) not Pictured are my kids' burgers they loved them, and my husband's catfish also very good. I shed a small tear because they were sold out of banana pudding lol.. Basically if you haven't been do yourself a favor and go!!

Absolutely delicious. Everything was so good. Jerk chicken was spicy. Ribs were fall off the bone delicious. Greens, candied yams and Mac n cheese hit the spot. I’m ready for a nap

We ordered via Door Dash but the food was INCREDIBLE!! My husband loved the catfish platter & I ordered the 1/2 rack of pork ribs platter. The ribs were huge, meaty & perfectly cooked!! We’re going to eat in next time.
